Definitely have to go with Umbreon. I've used one in multiple games now, and it always seems to clutch where nothing else can. Plus the shiny version is really pretty.

I think my choice would be Oshawott, but it's hard to say before I have the game in hand. I'm not interested in Rowlet, so that leaves Oshawott and Cyndaquil. Oshawott was one of the first Pokemon I ever used, whereas I never saw Cyndaquil until I bought Crystal last year. So, probably Oshawott...
