The HM item for Fly (Eon Flute) will be in version 1.1, but it won't have the soaring feature. The only reason I couldn't add it yet is because I would have had to break save compatibility by expanding the Key Items slot. Also, I noticed the cries as well, and its on my to-do list!

That's odd, it still works on my end. I was able to evolve one on my first play-through on 1.0, and I haven't made any changes in that area.

Overall progress of 1.1 is fast since I'm working on the game a lot. However, as for Orre itself, progress is slow. I'm not a very good spriter/mapper and I'm still learning. Right now I'm taking a break from advancing the storyline and scripting Gen 5 moves instead.

Currently you can finish the game just like Ruby and Sapphire. All of the gym leaders and E4 have been buffed slightly to increase the difficulty. As far as extra content, there isn't much so far. Right now, you can catch five different roamers after you beat the E4. I am also working on buffing...

Yes, but X/Y was also the beginning of when I started thinking about perfecting my mons and competitive battling. 8 year old me thought gens 1-3 were difficult, but they all feel easy now. I would say that X/Y are easier than the previous games though.
