sorry, I just now looked into this thread again. Make sure you are using the Android / JoiPlay version of the game. The "normal" version includes a multiple save file plugin that is not compatible with JoiPlay. Furthermore I see you figured out how to install the patch file already :)

I also added that patch file to the Download section of this post so people don't feel forced to join the Discord :)
