i wouldn't buy pokemon. if i bought pokemon, then i know i'd be obsessive with pokemon, which i am not. but... you could probz sell the event pokes to other people.

Hmm. Platinum is my first non-console Pokemon game (used to have Stadium + Snap) and after comparing it to my friend's diamond and pearl, i'd say it's much better. i picked it up quite quickly, with a good storyline, and good features. even little things like the 2 buttons on the poketch...

yes, i know quick balls lose their effectiveness. The 1st five only gave (at most) 2 rumbles.
