It's just telling you that there will be an update for it at some time, and until that comes out you can't use the internet on it. You can still play online in games, just not access the online shop or browser etc.

Yep. If you want to play the DS games in their original size, not being stretched to the bigger screen, then hold down 'Start' and 'Select' while booting the DS game and it will stay it's original size ;)

Probably both for around the same amount. I'm on the internet a lot, but then I also have the TV on while I'm using the internet too. It probably varies each day though.

I got mine on Thursday :D I only have Pilotwings at the moment, I wanted to get Lego Star Wars but the store was out of stock. Pilotwings is good enough though to keep me busy for now, even though I will get Lego online soon :)
