that's true, but I'd rather have an extra individual palette for every secondary tileset than have the same one. shame i didn't realise all this time :L could have made good use of it! oh well...

Do you know the offset for the palette of all the text colours in Emerald?
My normal method of using VBA's palette viewer to find the colours and then searching them with the first 2 and last 2 numbers swapped around in a hex editor didn't work this time :/
