Definitely! Right when I got the ability to surf in Crystal I went after Lapras in the cave. I'm a big fan of Lapras myself and I always seem to have one of my team depending on the game and it's availability in game. (: It's a good all around water/ice pokemon, and it's a tank defensively.

i have my trusty level 71 5IV altaria that i breeded myself and has it's megastone on it. I also have a level 69 ninetales I trained since level 1. My strongest pokemon I brought in for backup for the elite is definitely my level 100 togekiss. :3

there's times where you can get some cool stuff. like on wondertrade wednesday. i got two shiny battle ready pokemon and a legendary(which probably is legal)

I've gotten a lvl 50 shiny toxicroak, a level 100 shiny milotic(makes it easier for me so i don't have to breed it), level 1 bulbasaur with egg moves, lvl 1 treeko with dragon breath, and the best one of all: level 100 shiny arceus (which looks like from the recent event, but i doubt it's legit)

i heard of the things that happened with bad qr codes on x (or if getting pokemon with oras exclusive moves). it was risky doing it on x let alone oras if it was a bogus code. plus of from what i heard, i think it got patched already? so it's good in a way that it did, cause things would have...
