Those red balls in front of a target near my house count as a Pokestop. xD There's a looooot of gyms near my apartment (counting 10+ just driving to a local bojangles), but the Pokestops are usually really mundane, like this mailbox shaped like a dog. To be fair, it is a very cute dog.

I got the game earlier today. I hit level five, upon reaching which I joined Valor. The most notable thing I did today was evolve my Pidgey, affectionately nicknamed Taco.

I was going to choose blue, but clicked red at the last minute. Team Mystic seems too mainstream, plus Moltres is pretty sweet. As a side note, there are around three other people who live in my apartment complex who also play this game. They're all on Mystic. D:

I was trying to catch this caterpie earlier in the backseat of a car. For whatever reason, he kept breaking out. He had pretty low CP, too- I think I wasted 4-5 pokeballs before he ran away. :B I have haven't battled a zubat yet, though. For whatever reason they just never turn up in my area.
