I see that Roserade would do you much better than your Bellossom. Roserade, being Poison also, adds Sludge Bomb as a STAB attack, and generally, Roserade is a much more versatile pokemon in-game, imho. Your move pool would obviously need to include Sludge Bomb, and a powerful grass attack, and...

I see it happening in line with, as Kura said partially, the pre-creation period of Mewtwo possibly, because, from the screenshots shown, it resembles a past-themed environment. Or, it could be a ruins type place, as the features again, relate to a past theme.

I never ditch my starter, except one time I did to try to play without one. I feel weird not having my starter on my team in playthroughs, so usually my team revolves around my starter, and most of the time, it's the strongest member of my team in level.
