Going by this logic "in the original" then why even change any evolution methods in the first place. Using that as an excuse for 1 particular pokemon when others get a pass just breaks logic. It's your own rom hack anyways, you can do with it what you please. Maybe add a secondary evolution...

Will all pokemon that require trade to evolve have different evolution methods? I want an alakazam in my team but afaik, the evolution method hasn't been changed (I can't see it referenced anywhere). Also the max beauty evolutions are a pain in the ass to grind up for a casual playthrough...
