^ agree. Who dares edit a pokemon wiki to wrong information? I don't even think people would bother to even try because: 1. you need an account to edit. 2. Your edit has to be reviewed, so it cant be anything stupid like "pikachu is a legendary pokemon." Catch my drift?

While most of that is true, Ash still is the counterpart of red in the game/manga. It even says so here.

HONESTLY? The suspense and wait will kill me. But Its worth it, as long as you don't give up halfway through like alot of games I've seen. GAME FREAK should just let the fans give them ideas, cause they think about things way too late.

Actually, I feel the same way. There are these kids around where I live who play Pokemon, and they know nothing of the gens 3 and down. It saddens me. Mostly 'cause those games were so fun and always bring back memories...

YES, my thoughts exactly. I wondered about that for a while, and when I saw this thread, It kinda confirmed my suspicions in a way, knowing that other people want the same thing. There's no way Nintendo'll disappoint their fans like this...would they?

Well its not exactly running out of ideas because of THIS per say, but because of their lack of great news throughout the years (though there were a few games like OOT 3D), then the sudden disappointment at E3. It only makes me wonder how long they can keep this up, is all.

...... So...what changed? Besides the super huge screen made for old people? And no charger included....Nintendo is running out of ideas, guys. I'm afraid that after the Wii U.....the Pokemon franchise might be the only thing that keeps this company afloat... Cause Mario sure ain't.

This thread is making me want this remake so badly! If there was a remake for Gen III, I would definitely want it to be like the originals, in terms of how to split up the games and mascots. In other words, there would be 3 games just like the originals. Just seeing the whole region and its...
