Yeah it is more than that, there is one currently selling on eBay.com for $96 about £60 with 2 days still to go. So you’re probably right it might go for about $160

Promos usually have a black star to the bottom right of the Pokémon’s picture. However I think there are some exceptions. Also there will be a number at the very bottom right of the card (for example 41/131). What are those numbers and you should be able to find out from them?

Also it can depend on the condition of the cards. If it is in perfect condition: no bends, no scratches, no marks it will increase the price dramatically compared to a card that does have signs of wear and tear.

If it’s the Team Rocket Mewtwo EX 99/109. There are 3 on eBay, £15, £20, £25. All buy it now’s so this might give you some idea.

If I got that for mine I’d be over the moon. However I did see a PSA 10 graded Charizard 1st Edition go for just under £700 on eBay, I was amazed.

Cool. That’s way more than I thought. I thought it would just be about 200 or so. Also I read somewhere that you could catch the legendary birds in Platinum, is that true or are those part of the Pokémon I would have to trade in?

Hi, Phil here, Just discovered the forum a couple of days ago. I haven’t played on the Pokémon games in a long time but I definitely want to get back into them with Platinum. Last game I played was Gold, just hope it’s not too late to get into the swing of things again. Thanks, Phil

I would say the rarest card I have is a 1st Edition Shadowless Charizard (very happy)!!
