Do curve shots still improve the catch rate after the patch? Can't seem to find any info on this anywhere.

My sentiments exactly. I guess my only concern would be evolving a certain type of mon outside the "usual" realm only for that mon to receive a buff in future updates. Spewin if hundreds of candies were blown on evolving for xp then.

First post :p Much debate with my own friends about which mons can be repeatedly evolve for XP, apart from the usual pidgeys, weedles, catepies and rats. What about other common mons such as zubats and spearows? Can these be evolved repeatedly as well? Or are we better off saving the candies?
