I didn't think I'd like it at first, but I'm also playing through HeartGold now, and I find that I'm generally annoyed that I need an HM slave with me. So, I'm happy about it.

I really wish some sort of quest system would be implemented. It would give you a lot more options when you sit down, turn the game on and ask: "What should I do today?" Instead of just heading to the next route/Gym. The graphics engines need a complete overhaul as well. Full 3D game please...

My first game was Red, so I guess 13 years? I was 10 years old or so.

While Gray would be the most logical name... I really hope they come up with something better. Gray is way too boring.

You can't really go wrong with either of the most recent releases (HH/SS & B/W), so just pick one and enjoy! :)

If possible, I'll always use a Pidgey/Pidgeotto/Pidgeot and Geodude/Graveler/Golem, because, well - they're simply my favorite Pokemon (well, Pidgeotto and Geodude, but I always evolve them fully).

Their goals (well the fake one, not Ghetsis'), never had much merit. It has been shown time and time again that unless a Pokemon is being abused, they generally love being with their trainers. Sure there's an argument against confining them to Pokeballs, but that's about it.

Hmmm. I'll have to go with Drayden/Isis. I always seemed to have a Pokemon that could deal with the other Gym Leaders. I think my hardest challenge in the game was one of the later fights against Bianca. I don't know if I was just having an off day, but she nearly annihilated me.

Well when you compare them to HG/SS and W/B then they come up short feature wise, but as straight up remakes, I love them.

Pidgeotto! Not just my favorite Flying Pokemon, but my favorite Pokemon as well. :)

Drilbur and Tirtouga were the first Pokemon I kept full time after starting. So yeah, it was a while.

The original Gen I Pokemon will always be my favorite. I do like that we get new Pokemon though, but the original 151 are pretty much perfect.

I'm on my first run through of LeafGreen and have been wondering where some good spots are to use the Vs. Seeker? All of my Pokemon are around level 45-50 and I have just gotten my seventh badge. I'd like to get them all to level 60 before the Elite four. Any tips?

Pidgeotto signature.... If anyone is up to it, I'd love to see some designs for a Pidgeotto signature. I'd really appreciate it. ;)
