Not a big fan of Kingambit. I really like Bisharp, and I feel like it worked well as a final evolution, but Kingambit is just so disappointing imo.

I voted Growlithe! I have the fondest memories of using Growlithe/Arcanine and I love that it has some inspiration from the Shisa- especially evident in its Hisuian form. Houndour comes close though since I love and own Dobermans!

Already been said but all the Eeveelutions. They're basically big elemental cat/fox/dogs! Others i think would make great pets are Mincinno/Cincinno and Furret.

Hitmontop my beloved. I love his design and fighting style, being based on capoeira. He's also been amazing to use, with either Intimidate or Technician and all those priority moves. And what's more he's adorable! Honestly I find Hitmonchan kind of ugly and I'm just indifferent to Hitmonlee.

It's a 3 way tie for me between Chandelure, Espeon, and Hitmontop. I love all three of them and even have little merchandise collections of them all.

If I have to pick just one it's definitley Absol (unless Megas count as a stage?) I love it's concept and design, with the Yin Yang theme and being based on one of the coolest and underrated mythological creatures from Eastern mythology.

While I'm not particularly a big fan of any of them, I have to go with Emolga. I think it has the cutest and most unique design out of the Pikaclones and I remember Iris's being a fun character. It's also the only one I've used in a playthrough so I may be biased.
