On my second play-through of HG I didn't accept anyone's number. Well, with the exception of the ones you need. It was quite nice playing without being called every five minutes having a Youngster tell you that his Rattata is in the top-percentage of Rattata.

I will admit and say I like the idea. In my opinion, it adds more of a challenging aspect to the game in the sense that the game is encouraging to challenge yourself and grind off higher leveled adversaries.

In my opinion, the GTS has become useless. If I wanted a hacked PKMN I would just download Pokesav. I don't think I have ever gotten a legit PKMN the few times I've used it.

It unlocks an in-game event similar to the Pikachu Colored Pichu. I'm not 100% of the details, but from what I remember you see what appears to be one of the Legendary Beast roaming in an area unknown to me. When you go up to it, it reveals itself to actually be a Zoroark.
