    Tool: Mapping Editor [Cancelled]

Bit too early for April Fools jokes, isn't it? No, this is not a joke, this project is cancelled. I don't see any reason to develop this further with another, strong editor as its opponent (plus, diegoisawesome is one of the greatest and most skilled programmers of his generation). Diego will...

Yep, will definitely do that. :)

    Tool: Mapping Editor [Cancelled]

Working on the user interface! Small update guys! Here are some GUI screens, from the map itself, the movement permissions and from the first design of the NPC event page. A big "thank you" goes to daniilS who let me use the movement-permission pieces for my editor. Note: The event-loading has...

    Forum Event: Hack Chat

I really like the idea of having guests in the podcasts. Maybe you should invite some popular hack-creators?

[Other] What is happening to my script? (Script help)

That is because XSE probably corrupted some data in your script. You should try to repoint the whole script, i.e. replace all offsets ("0xXXYYZZ") with dynamic pointers ("#org @foo") again and then it should work :-). Or, if you have saved the script (I hope so) just recompile it. Edit:

    Tool: Mapping Editor [Cancelled]

Nope, the editor will support all major ROM types and support for all the features will be maintained for all of them!

Thanks for your support guys, you are amazing! :-) Just if you're wondering, I am currently trying to redesign the GUI in special terms: motivation. The user is going to spend quite a lot of time with a mapping editor, thus the GUI should be designed to motivate and refresh the user. I've tried...

    Tool: Mapping Editor [Cancelled]

Notification Due to missing implementations, real-life stress and other things concerning the GUI and the editor itself, I will not be able to release an alpha this week and maybe also not next week. I could release one but dislike this idea because I do not want to share unfinished and maybe...

    Tool: Mapping Editor [Cancelled]

No, please no... no try&catch in my code. :'D I think you misunderstood quite a few things: The pointer is perfectly fine but the data located AT the pointer's offset is corrupted (a bunch of FF's) and that is clearly A-Ms fault, sorry. You can choose to continue map-loading anyways. I think...

/!\ This is not advertisement! /!\Guess which hack was loaded into my map-editor :3. Yes, this is the latest progressing hack on Pokecommunity, Kanto Roads and loads just fine, but has one corrupted scripting-offset in a map-script-structure, probably caused by Advance-Map (look next heading)...

I am fine, but the map-editor currently contains some bugs that avoids other hacks to load (it loads vanilla ROMs, strangely), so I suspect that A-Map did something weird to them. :P

    Tool: Mapping Editor [Cancelled]

Guess what: I already had this idea too :-). Do you know of the tiled map editor by any chance? If you select a block and hold your left mouse button down as you move your mouse, the selection rectangle grows and a semi-transparent, blue selection covers multiple blocks. I'll also implement a...
