Yellow and Platinum make their respective generation games difficult to play. Ultra Sun made Sun tolerable. Haven't played Crystal or Emerald so can't comment on that.

Somewhere between Johto and Sinnoh, but I think Sinnoh ultimately beats comes out on top for me. Alola would be far down at the bottom.

I'm enjoying it so far, have been playing since yesterday and haven't even got to the 1st gym yet (oops) as I've been playing around with the Wild Area (will the Pokemon here scale to my level?). Hop is very annoying, a worse version of Hau. His animations are so irritating, I've never wanted...

The problem with that is that they've managed workarounds in every other generation, there's no reason that they can't think of some creative way to sort it this time.

Not once... The "catch 'em all" thing has never really done it for me...Unless there is really good post-game content (HGSS, Platinum for example) then I usually stop after all the storyline stuff ends.

I wish older games were more easily accessible. I know a few of them are on the 3DS but most of my gaming time is now dedicated to Switch rather than 3DS...

I've played a lot of Mystery Dungeon and Ranger, and a tiny bit of Pokemon Battle Revolution. A bit of Trading Card Game too.

I really like Poison-type but rarely find actual Poison-typed Pokemons that I like.
