I'd like to say I've made several updates in terms of my forums found ~LINK DELETED~ which I think is a lot better, as well as other changes such as making my site XHTML 1.1 validated, would be nice to hear some more responses, thanks.

Generally splash pages are not recommended as statistics prove that a majority of people decide whether or not to stay/bookmark a website in the first 30 seconds of visiting -- and a splash page only takes up the first several seconds of the visit. The main reason I want to switch is because I found out Windows Vista is supposed to be all about .NET object-orientation which I am NOT fond of. I figure I should switch and become familiar with linux before it comes out.

Coding needs work, as stated, has 15 errors at the moment. Layout is a bit plain, should use alt text for images. Color scheme needs more shades of green and a strong color to go with it.

I agree .NET is horrible -- now I've decided to stick to C++/Java/ and PHP... Also going to start using linux now, no more windows for me! :bandit:

Looks nice but I can't even get a validation status on your code because it has some utf-8 encoded chars in it. Try fixing that so you can see what errors you have on your page...

Thanks for the comments. Visual Basic was put first because thats the language I first started on and have the most on. As I continue to learn, I will be putting up both PHP, C++, and Java source codes available for download. I also need more people to work with me as I cannot do all of this...
