No, there is only the one Kubfu, and it retains its original evolution method. I'm not sure if altering that would cause problems if the player evolved it before climbing a tower so I left it alone. You can always hack in the other Urshifu with PKHex.

Legendaries are not changed. So Zacian is sword, Zamazenta shield; plus 1 of the horses, 1 of the new regis. The DAs are as they were also but they're not the focus of the game.

I'm not sure as I don't use that emulator, but if that emulator supports mods, then yes you would be able to, although it could be glitchy at times.

Hmm... No, you shouldn't have to do anything. They will all be 60 in the postgame but during the main story will not be that high. Are the other wild encounter areas loading correctly so far?? Make sure you have the right folder - Crowned Sword for Sword or Armored Shield for Shield, as the game...
Not within the mod itself. It may be possible to do with cheats for Sword/Shield, I'm not sure. The challenge mode I'm working on will probably mitigate those levels as the fights will be more difficult, but there will still be some level gaps due to the amount of trainers.
At the very start of the game, Rose should say Welcome to Crowned Sword & Armored Shield in the intro. Alternatively, you should be able to check when you get into the Slumbering Weald as the 3 encounters should be Hatenna, Impidimp and Dreepy.

Yeah, remove the existing titleid folder from atmosphere/contents and just grab and add the new one from the drive. It'll still work with older save files.
