What are good Ivs for the current darkrai event?

Im a n00b so I just kinda wanna know what to do to make sure the darkrai i catch has great ivs

Darkrai IVs What IVs should I try to max with the member card Darkrai? I was thinking of going for a timid nature (to help out with speed and I don't need Attack) But mainly, what IVs should I try and go for? Thanks!

How do you check? Like abra right? Does it have a 100% chance of Darkrai having the same nature? What about if I start with Abra and then change to my previous event Darkrai? Did I cover it all, or is there something else? I don't think I'm gonna go for shiny!

What would I need to do to get a really good Darkrai for this event? I know I would need to EV train it (which comes after catching it) Should I bring an Abra with a good nature like timid so it has that? Will that work? How should I know if it has good IVs? Anything else I'm forgetting?!

Pokémon Chaining I would really enjoy learning how to star chaining and eventually becoming successful.. But I really don't understand how to chain for shinies (in Platinum). All of the guides that I've read have been extremely confusing. Does anyone know how?
