Are you posting this in the correct place? People are discussing the genders of the professors, which has nothing to do with the title of the game. The only speculation stated about the titles was that it may have something to do with genetics...

I agree with the genetics part. The names could stand for the X and and Y chromosomes and the colors on the antlers of the stag correspond to the nitrogen bases in DNA.

I would want a pre-vo for Luvdisc and Alomomola to connect them and perhaps seperate evos for each of them. An evolution for Heatmor would be nice, too.

Judging by how difficult it is to tell what type the legendaries are, perhaps they are implementing tri-type pokemon. It would be a lot easier to guess their typing if this were true.
