As far as I understood, they are acting randomly and unconcerned like is Mew's behavior, but around what seems to be a flame

I remember when I defeated a Rhyhorn using a low level Gastly just to see how many levels it would gain. In Gen 1 Rhyhorn has only normal attacks, so he could do nothing against a ghost type. But it took me a lot of "licks" to defeat him haha

Ah the Missingno glitch, I used it many times. I even captured him. I also remember that I had a bugged Electrode level 250
