Well, it must be the rom u used to patch, ussualy if u use a non 100% pure rom to patch, these sort of probems occur:P.

u have to go to the goldenrod city( where u get ur bike) and defeate the team rockets.

U end up at ur house after defeating the league, then after exiting ur house u get a call fro profeesor elm.

Go to the Burned Tower in Johto, and find Morty where Entei, Raikou and Suicune were. Battle him, and he'll make it work( he muc tougher than the last time:P). If u did that and it still doesnt work, then i dont know whats the problem.

After battling sudowuddo, talk to the guy who is right to where preveously sudowuddo was there( the one that looks fat), he will thank u for clearng the way and give u rocksmash.:classic:
