Great idea honestly, and I'd love to see it happen, but Pokemon (as mentioned above) is too "goody-two-shoes" for this kind of plot. I really doubt anything like this will happen =/

Same thing that happens in HG/SS if you only have one pokemon on your team and encounter a double-battler. They'll say somethin along the lines of "Oh, it wouldn't be fair since you only have [number] pokemon..." And you don't battle them.

As long as theirs no Gym Leader that has to be fought using 3-on-3 to promote the feature like there was for Double Battles in RSE, then I'll be okay with it I think. Not terribly excited, but you could say I'm the middleman in this.

I really like these pokemon and can see myself using these on my future team. I didn't like the earlier ones most for the reason of them being too "cutesy" for me but these seem like my kind of pokemon! Mole Pokemon that we only saw the back of: Seems cool, but also seems like it's the kind of...

Heh, I can't even get past the first three albums honestly. They moved way too into the mainstream rock category, kinda just blended in. :/ It's not even Punk anymore past those first few albums. They even said that in an interview, they comdemned those albums as "unlistenable"

There's no way to get a pokemon(other than cheating) other than your starter before you battle your rival, not even from the pokewalker.
