Before applying the level curve patch I was looking for documentation stating exactly how the levels are scaled. However I do not see any info in the opening post or download. How high is the 8th gym leader? Elite 4? The E4 rematch? And finally the Kanto trainers, gym leaders etc. Just curious...

When you release a patch will it be possible to use the same save file or would it require restarting the game entirely?

I went to get my beldum egg and had the same glitch not even 30 minutes ago. Not sure what's up with that. You listed several things, to be specific it's the glitch with the lady not giving you the egg, and seeing weird objects in the mountains/trees.
