This and the mega evolutions makes it seems like game freak is really focusing on the competitive side of the game. Seems cool to me!

Looks pretty decent but the concept [basically the hunger games] seems uninspired, you should probably try and get a better looking battle system than the one essentials has.

Layout is very nice, but aesthetically it doesn't look that great; you've mixed kyledove style tiles with RSE ones; there's not really any unity of color or palletes between that and all the random stuff in the grass. It's a decent map itself, but it would really look better if you didn't put...

Practice and looking at the official maps are the biggest ones, just keep mapping and holding yourself to a high standard, but don't get discouraged; keep posting in the showcase thread if you're not sure where you're at. Good luck!
