I'm totally old school, it will always be Misty for me. The perfect companion for Ash. They had quite a fiery relationship, ups and downs but they had a lot of chemistry. Their friendship grew and they became quite close as a result. Imo nobody could ever replace her. ♥

Mostly 100+ hours as I enjoy exploring the game in its entirety, I quite like spending time catching Pokemon, talking to people and picking up as many random items as possible. There have been a few times where I've rushed through the game using one or two Pokemon but I found it less enjoyable...

In 1st gen I always found Koga from Fuchsia city gym annoying with his poison Pokemon. I tried to get through it a few times without aid but in the end I had to buy a fair number of antidotes to get past him.

I've just got a DS lite so I'm playing Black 2 on that.

I picked Oshawott which is typical of me as I love the water type Pokemon. I'm glad I did because I love the Pokemon it evolves into and it's heading my team well. Plus it was hard to turn down such a cute looking sea otter. :P

I don't think the anime would work without Ash, he's been the protagonist for so many years I just can't see it working with anyone in his place.
