Ah, my bad. It's been a while, so I was a bit foggy on the details. Cinnabar Island is where you find Latios, but you can find Latias in the Dragon's Den when you're carrying the Enigma Stone.
This hack was my first ROM hack and it was definitely a learning experience. I'm working on something new, but it'll be quite a while before that's on the horizon. Hopefully people who enjoyed the first one will enjoy the second. Thanks for the support.
It's been a substantial amount of time since the hack released, so here's how to get the Lati twins and where to find the key to the basement generator:
-The Lati twins spawn on Cinnabar Island when you have the Enigma Stone, which you can receive from an NPC in Fuchsia City after beating Red...
The level cap for each badge corresponds to the highest level Pokémon on the next gym leader's team. You can find available documentation on important trainer fights available at this link: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1FSdv6cQDuLkz96ghdmql8N5Clej37Huaw5HQGsH50zI/edit?usp=sharing...
AN ALTERNATIVE VERSION OF THE GAME HAS BEEN RELEASED
In this alternative build of the game, you can buy Rare Candies at almost every mart in the game for those who don't really enjoy grinding. This version is available alongside the normal one and is entirely optional.
I have heard this kind of concern often, that it is difficult to train up new Pokémon from scratch every single time the game calls for a team reconsideration. I've been mulling over potential solutions and have decided that I will create an alternative patch of the game that includes access to...
Pokémon that evolve via a held item when traded now just evolve when you use that item on them. It works like any other evolution stone. You can find a Dragon Scale somewhere inside Mt. Mortar and they can be bought at the Celadon City Department Store.
You can buy the Mist Stone required to evolve Eevee into Ecteon from the Goldenrod Department Store.
As for Gligar, it doesn't evolve by holding the Razor Fang in this game, rather it just evolves at Level 44.
I'm glad to hear it! We tried our very best to make the big battles in the game challenging and encourage players to pick up some of the new Pokémon. I'll take note of the Alakazam balancing issue. Thanks for playing!
A new patch has been released for the game! This new patch fixes several smaller errors and improves quality of life.
Patch notes are available on the main post.
Please save in a Pokémon Center before going over to the new version. Patch a clean ROM and use the same save file.
Thanks for your continued help in finding some of the smaller oversights that I've overlooked. Most of the above issues will be fixed in a patch I'll be publishing later today, with a few exceptions. Removing the berries on the trainers seems rather redundant even if they don't contribute much...
New patch has been released!
Fixes some small inaccuracies and such.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
There is now a public "Important Trainers spreadsheet" for those who like to know what they're up against before heading into a battle.
Hi, saw your message and went to work on fixing some of the inaccuracies. I'll be pushing out a new patch that fixes these later today. I'll respond to your concerns in bulletpoints.
1. This is unintentional, just me not looking over all the encounters and considering when you get them...
Hi, the game will automatically stop you from levelling past the highest level Pokémon, so you don't need to worry. I do hope to share the important fights documentation at some point however. But for the time being I hope this helps.
