My name is Matthew.

Let's see. I'm currently struggling as an artist, and after finally escaping that low-grade depressive miasma that was my family, I'm starting to feel certain things coming back to me (like the desire to draw, paint, imagine). But I have a day job that pays the bills and doesn't make me completely miserable.

I enjoy reading. My taste in books began with fantasy, mystery and horror but has mostly dropped into non-fiction titles in fields such as psychology, philosophy, personality theory, biography, random science, mythology and folklore, culture, legal thrillers and whatever catches my eye.

I am also an excellent bluffer, convincing people I know things about books and topics I have never actually read in totality.
