If you do try it, I'd love to hear how you get on! In my LP I'm still pretty early on, only got 2 badges so things could change drastically but so far it hasn't been ludicrously difficult. I would have been in big trouble at some points if I'd been playing by Nuzlocke rules though.

I think it would have to be used very sparingly to prevent type matchups becoming too confusing. To be honest, dual-typed Pokemon confuse me occasionally as it is - I always have to think wait, that type is weak to X but this type isn't, does that make it resistant or just neutral? etc.

It varies. For a standard playthrough, my own name, but if I plan on naming my Pokemon after a theme, my player name will reflect that, and if I'm doing a solo-type run, my character will have a name relating to that type.

Lots of Suicune ones here, but I think mine just might be the best/worst haha. Soo-sheen. 'Soo' for 'Sui' - fair enough I guess, but I really can't justify pronouncing 'cune' as 'sheen'. Unfortunately, since that's how I pronounced it for years, that's still how I read the name in my head...
