in the exchange program, a few students and two teachers ( the German one and some other teacher} from my school go to Germany and I guess they live with a family for a week or two I guess....they visit tourist places and all that. Last year they went in august/September not sure..
And after a month, students and teachers from Germany come to my school and live with one family I guess. They usually come during diwali/ Ganpati.
