I don't organize my Pokemon. In Platinum my boxes are overflowing and I have to release some of my Pokemon. What I'm thinking to do is transfer my event Pokemon collection (which consists of over 70 Pokemon) in my HG/SS. Also, I have lots of EV'ed and IV bred Pokemon.

I once used a walkthrough for FireRed, which came with the game, but I don't use them for D/P/Pt.

Pokemon Platinum is an improved version of D/P. It introduces new Pokemon forms (Rotom, Giratina, Shaymin), the Battle Frontier and new move tutors. However, I don't think you should buy Platinum You'd better save your money for another game.
