it was probably finding my friend's secret base for the first time, then realising we could access all of our friends' secret bases after mixing records. finding everyone's little areas with dolls and battling their team was great.

i love how faithful this feels to the original games, while still being inventive and fun to play. the phone card/pokegear graphics give me a huge feeling of nostalgia that hg/ss didn't quite manage to capture :)

you generally want to use the 95 damage/100% accurate moves, but there are some cases where using the more powerful ones can be important. i can't think of specific examples off the top of my head, but if thunderbolt is only going to do 85-90% damage to a pokemon, while thunder will do 100%...

i have a feeling most evolutions will be to promote the fairy type (see: sylveon), so yeah i'd totally bet on dunsparce evolving to a fairy something. i'd be surprised if oldschool pokemon like pinsir and jynx got an evolution, at this point i'm sure gamefreak/nintendo would like to promote...

well yeah, that's the main point of adding the new type. the most useful fairy, as i said, would be one that can safely switch into an outrage while taking minimal damage, and threatening the dragon enough for it to switch out. a defensive typing doesn't necessarily imply it can take an attack...

porygon z with adaptability can run hyper beam to get a ko on a huge amount of otherwise specially defensive pokemon, but there are generally better options. other than that, yeah it's pretty sub-par.

scrafty was pretty fantastic - you got it early-ish, had a great movepool/coverage, bulky stats, and could reasonably take on the most elite 4. sigiliph was also good, although it tapered off later in the game it really put in work early with its high special/stab moves.

fairy types are pretty much assumed to be the best counter to dragons using outrage etc., being able to switch in while they're locked relatively unharmed. based off the information we have so far (virtually none) you'd have to assume the most useful fairy is one that has higher def and can...
