I love the overall retro feeling, and I absolutely love how the towns change color in Yellow.

I loved the Cyndaquil evolution line, as well as Gligar and Sneasel. Quite memorable Pokemon. Even without evolutions being given to them later on, they still would be badass Pokemon without evolutions.

I am a huge fan of the Dwebble / Crustle evolution line, Bug/Rock is an excellent type pairing.

The Gen 5 games came out around the time I was in 6th or 7th grade, so they were honestly a big part of my late childhood. They are old enough to the point where I can consider them quite nostalgic to play. The story was memorable to me, and jam packed with moments that I will never forget...

As it pertains to game cartridges, I am not really a fan of resetting the game. I like to keep that save file as like physical memorabilia that I can look back on. Unfortunately, I lost my Pokemon White cartridge at a friends house and then he moved ... and I never got around to buying the Black...

I'm definitely a fan of the Chespin line. Chespin was my starter in my first run through of X, and I love the fact that Chesnaught is a grass-fighting type. I really like Pancham / Pangoro. I don't think Pokemon had introduced any Panda Pokemon before these guys (from what I can remember)...

I agree when I say that the OST is a very important component of the experience you have with a game. I do believe that X and Y / ORAS's soundtrack was a huge step up from Gen IV and V's soundtrack. Personally, my favorites from X and Y are the bicycle theme as well as Lumiose City's Theme...
