    Too embarassing, especially when you're at school. Even when you hide it, it always seems to "come out" in some sort of way.

    Yeah, same here. I think Starly was one of my second Pokemon I trained alongside my Piplup. Although, I'm having a feeling that I may have caught Bidoof.
