Well maybe but it doesn't have to be spore+punch. Most people have it on one with poison heal, but i used the same strategy on effect spore and it didn't seem that different so yeah it should be worth it

In Adventure i use starters most of the time of course, but in wifi battles you would always see a dragon type in my team (dragonite, salamence, and hydregon)

How about dratini, well you can't use it pretty much until you beat the final gym but it can be really useful against lance sense hes got 3 dragonites
