Played Sapphire countless times through as a kid and used a variety of pokemon but on my serious playthrough years later my team was along the lines of this other than having a ninetales instead of blaziken. In the end I think this is what I will go with.

Do you guys think that the player search system will be backwards compatible with X and Y or only between players of OR/AS?

I once found a shiny Ponyta in Pokemon Crystal and a shiny Poocheyena in Emerald which is now Poketransported to my Y game. ^_^

Okay, this is weird, I beat Whitney but got the forth badge instead of the third. Edit: Found another sprite bug. At the National Park, there's a girl that is sitting on a bench with a Nidoran. When you talk to the Nidoran it says "Persian: Fufushaa!"

Found another little bug. The pokemon beside the lady that gives you the sweet scent TM is a pidgey sprite but the text says "Butterfree: Freeh!" when you talk to it. This is after you get through Ilex forest at the gate/rest house thing. Edit: Also it says "Sprout Tower: Ilex Forest" on the...

About the poison sting bug, I was just stinged and didn't get poisoned so it's not a bug. Edit: Don't know if you know of this one yet but the last guy you battle in the sprout tower, after you win against him he repeats what he says from the start of the battle.
