Welcome to PokeCommunity! Like Floette, I'm also a bit new. The community is nice, I'm sure you'll get comfortable here easily. Having a DS is nice but I hate the market strategy lol. Make new versions of the console often -_- There is the DS, DS Lite, DSi, DSi XL 3DS, 3DS XL, 2DS.

I was also hoping that there would be more customization options but I guess that would be straying a bit far from the real game. Maybe just a preview and stuff, it helps.

No, I usually make a balanced team wherein one covers another's weakness. There was this one time that I fought someone with the same strategy as me and we wasted several turns switching pokemon to counter each other. lol.

Me too, I never used them or maybe just a few times before. I usually separate my Pokemon by boxes so I didn't really have to use the markings. But I guess that is a good way to use them. I learned something new :)

I see, I never unlocked the new hairstyles in my first playthrough even though I 'easily' got in the Boutique, I'll try again. Thanks.

@moltreszapdosimagirl I tried what you have just said but after changing hairstyles 15 times, nothing happened.

I used to play with 3D on. I'm not sure but I think it eats up the battery fast so I decided to turn it off.
