    I'm making a small FireRed ROM hack, mostly with "quality of life" improvements, but also a few twists, one of which is Porygon's evolution. I wanted to make the Up-Grade work like an evolution stone instead of an held item for trade evolution. I have mostly succeeded in making it work. Yeah...

    How can I enable evolving Pokemon from Gen 2 and Gen 3 in FR/LG without the National Dex?

    I'm in the middle of doing a small FireRed RomHack, and one of the things I want to do is allow evolutions of non-Gen 1 Pokemon with just the regional Kanto Dex, aka allow my Golbat to evolve into Crobat instead of it being forced to stay unevolved until post-game. I really want to change this...
