2nd Gen The originals or the remakes?

Let me guess... GOLBAT! Also, Wigglytuff's sprite was just plain ridiculous.

    Alanto Dex

These sprites are great for the most part, but some of them don't look like they were made by the same person because they're not as good, in my opinion. For example, #62-64 are really bland and have weird palettes compared to most of your other great sprites. Anyway, keep up the good work!

2nd Gen The originals or the remakes?

I go with the originals way over the remakes. When playing the remakes, I often find myself thinking, "wait.. that's not supposed to happen!" Don't get me wrong, remakes are great! I just think the originals are so great in the first place!

    Dino's Fakemon

I really like these sprites! I especially love the design of the red birds. However, I think they could use a palette adjustment. To me, the red and black are a tad too dark(?) maybe. Also, the right wing looks rather flat in the second red bird.

    Ruby hack: Pokémon Snakewood Version

Ok, I'm posting again just because this hack is one of the best and most enjoyable I've ever played! There SO many parts that make me laugh, and this story is getting crazy. I just got past the whole "Deadly Seven" place, which I particularly loved.

What are your views on ROM Hacking Groups and Teams?

In my opinion, the best, most-functional team structure would the be the following: Member #1: Leader - Mapper, Scripter, Storyline Member #2: Spriter That's it. 2 members. If a team gets any bigger than 2 people, the logistical side of things get in the way. It's too hard to keep everyone...

FireRed hack: [FIRERED HACK] Pokemon: The Springvale Legacies

That makes more sense! Haha Sometimes palettes are tricky to get just right, but like I said, the routes' palette look pretty decent right now.

FireRed hack: [FIRERED HACK] Pokemon: The Springvale Legacies

Alright, a new hack is up! I always like the idea of having the protagonist graduating some sort of school at the beginning of the game, but I haven't played any hacks that have made significant progress on that type of storyline. Hopefully, you'll stick with this for a long time. I really...

FireRed hack: Pokemon Lilac [Beta 1 Released!]

I've been waiting for another impressive update like this one! The entire graphical side of Lilac is brilliant, and I think that these trainer sprites and OW's bring it to another level, now. Keep up the awesome work, brah. I'm really looking forward to what this game will turn into when it's...

Ruby hack: Pokemon: Super Rising Thunder!

I love the look of this hack! The idea is great, the tiles and palettes are appealing, and the scripting looks very well-done. I'll definitely give this one a playthrough once a release comes.

FireRed hack: Pokemon Blue Ocean Version

I've always thought that this hack was particularly interesting, and I have to say that the map are redone quite well! They look very playable, and they resemble the old areas enough to keep a nostalgic feel. This could be really fun if the scripts are on par with the mapping.

    Ruby hack: Pokémon Snakewood Version

I just started playing Snakewood yesterday. I've been meaning to play it for a few months now, and I was expecting a fun playthrough. The first hour or so of playing has been really fun! The whole zombie thing is a great plot, and I love the hilarious dialogue with NPC's. "His body has been...

    What annoys you about hacks?

The level of difficulty is a huge thing that people don't get quite right in their hacks. There have been countless times where I have been testing out a beta/alpha/final version, and I have been enjoying the story, tiles, dialogue, scripting, and mapping. Then, I'll run into a huge roadblock...

    Trainers on Route 1?

Trainers on route 1 can work, but you probably need to make sure that this doesn't detract from gameplay. Most people want to get a feel for the storyline in the first parts of the hack, not spend their time barely winning scrappy fights with their level 6 starter. If there were trainers on...

What type do you used in your hack?

I don't like putting the original starters in hacks. Hacks should be refreshing, and using other variations helps keep the game original. Plus, when the original starters are then obtainable later in the game, it adds a bit more fun, since most people value the starters. In my hack, Maize...
