Is there a way to fix the text speed setting? It always does instant no matter which setting is chosen.

So, I determined that while the patch can be applied to HeartGold, it seems to be meant for SoulSilver.

I haven't been able to get this patch to work (white screen issue), I'm using a clean dump of Pokémon HeartGold Version that I've made myself. I don't want all the changes that Golden Edition makes, and the vanilla game is unplayable because it has Lyra instead of Kris.

If I'm reading the source code correctly, Electabuzz needs to level up to Level 30 or higher while holding an Electirizer, which can be found in Rock Tunnel or held by some wild Electabuzz.

I personally use the VBA-M core on RetroArch. Since RetroArch is open-source, it's free and has no ads.

The GitHub source code is not equivalent to the stable V2.2.0 release, if that's what you're using. The GitHub is pretty much an ongoing V3.0 beta.

I already have Crystal pre-loaded. It'll be great to play Crystal again. I used to own a physical copy, but I lost it a couple years ago.

At least you still have your original cartridge. My dad sold my Game Boy Color and all my games without my knowledge to a GameStop three years ago. ;-; But you do make a good point about Polished Crystal.

Uh, hell yeah! Pokémon Crystal Version was my first ever Pokémon game. Heck, I'll probably buy it as soon as GameStop starts carrying those preorder cards in the replica Game Boy Color game boxes.
