I've restarted a couple of times to try the game with different pokemon. Now though, since the Victini event has long gone, I'm not restarting.

I used Piplup on my first play through of Pearl, as I was brand new to Pokemon and it was recommended. I then used Turtwig on my second and finally Chimchar on my third. If I started again on Platinum, I'd probably do a 'eeny,meeny', all of them are good in game.

So, who else idolizes this grand innovation as much as I do? I love it, love it, love it. Extremely useful. Do you even use this feature? All the time! I hardly use the bike because of it, and only walk if I want to get to a precise location, as it's easier then. :)

I nickname all my Pokemon except HM Slaves and Legendaries. I believe Legendaries should retain their names, and slaves are undeserving of nicknames :P

I use more than one Pokemon. False Swipe on one, Spore on another. Maybe I should just get a Parasect...

I'd have liked other ways to introduce more characters into White Forest/Black City, especially for someone who doesn't have that many Black/White players around his area. Other than that, I'm reasonably satisfied with post-game content.

I've found the Kimono girls quite interesting, for reasons previously mentioned. I also think Silver's an intriguing rival to have.

I've restarted my game, but I will choose Squirtle and Torchic. Mainly because I've got the other four (including shiny Charizard, yay :)). I might pick up another starter though if it turns out I haven't. I've got Pearl and Platinum so Sinnoh starters aren't a big deal for me.

Very useful. I like them a lot, since they save my money on Revives, Potions and the like.

It wasn't a WTF moment it was a WTFAmIDoing moment for me. I was using my Excadrill against a Cryogonal and used Earthquake. It had Levitate. 'No biggy, I'll remember that next time and use Rock Slide.' Moments later I used Earthquake again.

I hunt them for the XP they give. Occasionally though, when they heal my critically injured Pokemon I feel sad as I beat them down...

Dependant, starter pokemon are always useful and Fire + Fighting is useful in this game and Emboar's move pool is very adaptable to what a team needs. If anything was to be replaced by it, probably Braviary as from personal experience, it takes forever to evolve it, arrives late in game and...

I prefer Zekrom for looks but I think Reshiram is the better legendary in battle.
