I tend to go by Byrd, although I've also used Nova and Star before, so feel free to call me whatever, nicknames are (usually) more than fine, so there you go. I'm aromantic, which means that I don't get romantic feelings or crushes on people.
I'm currently trying to learn how to code in ruby, although java is on my eventual to-do list as well. Sadly, I don't have as much time for this as I would like, due to college and a disability that leaves me without much energy. Still, though, I do have a couple projects going, although I'm prioritizing a FRLG remake, because it was my first video game, and I have a giant soft spot for it. If you're working on something similar, I'd love to talk with you, or even work together. I'm guessing most people on here have much more experience than me with coding, but I can sprite to some small extent, and I can proofread, beta people's writing, and do other english-related stuff in exchange for occasional help or advice if I get stuck with something.
I'm currently working towards a degree somewhere in the BioChem/Biotech area, and I'm very interested in molecular cell biology and molecular genetics. I'm just a freshman in college right now, though, so don't expect me to know too much, but I love talking about what I do know, so if you share those interests, or if you need someone to help you with homework, or if you want someone to consult on making your game a bit more scientific, I'll see what I can do, pfft.

Things I like to do primarily include studying chemistry and biology, and their related subjects, but I also like learning computer science, and I'm trying to learn ruby and java in my free time, and I'm also studying Latin, French, and Japanese, and trying to start Greek, Mandarin, and Hindi. Spanish and German are on my to-do list, but I unfortunately haven't gotten around to starting them yet.
I'm also a giant Marvel Comics fan, and my favorite series are Young Avengers, Nova, Captain Marvel, and Ms Marvel. I also love the MCU, Guardians of the Galaxy and Captain America 2 are probably my favorite movies, and I'm extremely excited for the Captain Marvel movie.
