I'm currently playing Universal randomized Pokemon White (U) version. The wild Pokemon, trainer Pokemon, field items, move power, move PP, Pokemon base stats, starter Pokemon, and static encounters are all random. And now...

Adding the abilities into the game is straight forward it's just learning ASM to make the abilities... it's so simple it's difficult xD
Is there a way to create new ability effects without using a battle script editor?
/can you do the same steps for adding new move effects without replacing old ones?
1. Copy a table of data into free space (ability effects table?)
2. Repoint
3. At the end of the effects table 'after the last...
I retried it again (third times a charm) and made sure no data sizes were changed, it's working now!
I changed the palette slightly for fairy type and it's changed the text colour when looking at a Pokemon, so I'll have to figure out how to fix that :P

I'm new to this also and this tutorial has been the most helpful imo.
My first 5 attempts at changing the title logo had a similar result, either the logo didn't change at all or the screen was just black / stopped loading.

I figured that out unfortunately and I've been trying to switch the colours around so that black isn't the first colour anymore and the first colour becomes a bright useless colour, for whatever reason black is still becoming transparent even after starting over with a new rom.
