That is pretty weird. Have you beaten Chuck (the fighting gym leader) yet? That may get things working (I was able to get the secret medicine after beating Chuck and speaking to the gym leader in the lighthouse).
If you look at the section under stats, it says that IVs have no effect on your stats (all stats are calculated assuming an IV of 31) so marking for IVs would be wasted
I don't think this is a bug? The game doesnt usually show the other pokemon's HP so it would look a bit awkward and, I suppose, "bug" like now that it does.
When you say Gen 3 based, what do you mean? Would there be any way to convince you to add some of the more logical features of future generations such as PSS? Not to mention adding in the evolution lines of pokemon from generation 3 who get additional evolutions in later games?
@MeroMero do you intend to add in Pokemon from future generations? The sprite work from the creator of the pokemon Moon Black hack is INSANE. They have made sprites for mega evolutions which look amazing
The game currently just employs a bunch of gameplay mechanics changes; the storyline itself is pretty much unchanged. So you can play through till the end.
This idea of effectively collecting IV's and moves sounds pretty great. It'd be similar to the monster combination in the dragon quest joker games. It would also mean that, say someone wants to get fighers with good IVs, they wouldn't have to start from level 1 every time. They could catch...
On the note of android 17: have you thought of giving him an ability which means he doesnt have to recharge after using a hyperbeam type move? This would allow for him to become a glass cannon, and would give him enough of a niche that he could still prove useful (given a sufficiently high speed...
