Two questions: Lots of these pokemon can't be acquired until late game if i remember correctly, are we just supposed to use our starter until then if we can't hack? Is it allowed to do a solo challenge with one pokemon from this list?

How long have you not been the OP of the Solo Challenge? Apparently its been way too long since I was here.

I'd LOVE for multiple save files. It would allow me to have a second file for challenge runs without having to buy the other version or using an emulator(and I despise using emulators)

You could just play it on an actual cartridge.

I have another question about linking up with a BW1 file. My brother has a Japanese copy of the game, but he's buying an English BW2. Both of the DS's he'll use are also English. Will the link-up work? If you guys don't know then fine, I just didn't know where else to ask.

Try EV training over 170 points off of a 20% encounter rate without the use of power items, macho brace, or pokerus. That was torture (This was in my Weedle Sapphire Solo). No speed button either, it was on cartridge.

Hey guys, so I'm doing a solo challenge for the challenges section on white, and I have a few questions about the end of the game. I'll put it in spoiler tags for those playing through for the first time.

Didn't think of that actually. Although at that point I'll still want White 2 since Black 2 will be used for my main playthrough. I'll probably just end up getting White due to not wanting to wait.

I have lots of time for my challenge, but I don't own Pokemon White yet (only black and i dont want to erase it), and I don't want to use an emulator either.
