Just make new NPC. if you ask about insert rival name, thats kinda hard. because you need to use some asm for storing name into RAM and call it when battle. but for pick third pkemon, battle, etc, just make normal NPC and script

You can use HMA to export and import map. But, because Emerald and Fire Red has different format of tiles, you need to modify it after import
