True but that really doesn't sit well with me, to use the same card to beat a card. We follow the rules on the cards and the standard rules (poisons, card layout etc). If all the difference is a card backing then that isn't a problem for how we play. :-)

That makes perfect sense. Thanks. Sadly I think that makes the Pokemon not so useful for me as my opponent has a few Energy Removal cards. Once that is done to a Plasma Energy card then that Pokemon becomes useless and I can't afford to have many of those energies. :-)

Fair do. I myself like the Grass type above all else so I will use them as much as I can. I use other types in the deck to help back them up. The system works well and the Water allies are a real pain for my fire opponent.
