I agree, the people in firered always act like they're much tougher than they actually are.

-beat misty after hours of grinding (larvitar and charmander) -went to vermillion -got bike voucher -beat Lt.Surge -got cut -realized i still could get bike -went back to cerulean and got bike -rode it back to vermillion -didnt know where rock tunnel was, then realized i forgot to get a map...

i like firered the best. I have a specail like for kanto, and the fact that i dont have to deal with the origional gameboy makes it better.

Bob, a lv 80-something charizard from my firered. beat the game entirely with him and i think three other pokemon i cant remember.

the ability "cute charm". hands down most f$%#ing annoying thing. "your pokemon is immoblized by love!" THE HECK IT IS! just because the majority of my pokemon are male (for no reason) the game decided to pick on me. i can understand if a pokemon hits me with "flamethrower" and gets burnt...

i love this idea. its like pokemon with an animal crossing/tycoon game thrown in. i dont like the idea of making the town, but i think people in the town could move in/out dynamically, trainers blow through frequently, etc. the bad thing is that you cant really train past a certain point, like...

ive only had blue, but i kept taking the test until i got charmander. my partner is pikachu.

id like to see fighting/dark/psychic in a game/hack. but i dont think that therre is anything wrong with f/w/g starters.

Probably, when we see better DS emulators and more tools for the DS. GBA is still much easier.

EDIT: Ive got pics now! YAY! My Progress wtih A-team: -picked charmander, delivered parcel, etc. -got codes to work; claimed my larvitar. (Its about freakin' time, too...) -trained (for my larvitar's case, grinded) to level 10 before leaving route 2. -exited virdian forest with level 12's...

Do i have to wait to see my name on the "challengers" or permission to start, or can i just start now? sorry, im new to the forums.
